दरअसल आपको बता दे, नीरज गुजरात में इन दिनों चल रहे नेशनल गेम्स में हिस्सा लेने गए हैं। इस दौरान महज 24 साल के नीरज चोपड़ा एक गरबा कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे।
टोक्यो ओलंपिक में भारत को गोल्ड मेडल दिलाने वाले इस स्टार एथलीट का सोशल मीडिया पर गरबा डांस का वीडियो तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है।
आपको बता दे, नीरज चोपड़ा ने 20 दिन पहले ज्यूरिख में पहली बार डायमंड लीग में गोल्ड मेडल जीता था। वह 88.44 के ब्रेस्ट थ्रो के साथ पहले स्थान पर रहे है। इससे पहले नीरज ने साल 2017 और 2018 में फाइनल के लिए क्वालीफाई किया था। तब वह 2017 में सातवें और 2018 में चौथे स्थान पर थे।
स्टार ओलंपिक चैंपियन नीरज चोपड़ा वर्ल्ड एथलेटिक्स चैंपियन में चोटिल हो गए थे। जिसके बाद उन्होंने जुलाई-अगस्त में कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में हिस्सा नहीं लिया था।
उन्होंने वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप में देश को सिल्वर मेडल दिलाया है। उस वक्त भारत ने 19 साल बाद वर्ल्ड चैंपियन में कोई मेडल जीता था। नीरज से पहले अंजू बॉबी जॉर्ज ने 2003 में वर्ल्ड एथलेटिक्स चैंपियन में लॉन्ग जंप में ब्रॉन्ज जीता था। तभी इस चैंपियन को देश में पहला मेडल मिला था।
