Mandi News: मंडी 22 फरवरी। छोटी काशी मंडी में 19 फरवरी से 25 फरवरी तक मनाए जा रहे अन्र्तराष्ट्रीय शिवरात्रि महोत्सव की मध्य जलेब का आयोजन बुधवार को किया गया। जलेब में मुख्य संसदीय सचिव सुन्दर सिंह ठाकुर मुख्यातिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। उन्होंने जलेब में शामिल होने से पहले राजदेवता माधोराय मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना कर उनका आर्शीवाद लिया। देव ध्वनियों के साथ राजदेवता माधोराय के मंदिर से शुरू हुई मध्य जलेब पड्डल मैदान में सम्पन्न हुई। जलेब में दर्जनों देवी-देवता अपने वाद्य यंत्रों के साथ शामिल हुए।

शोभायात्रा के दौरान देवताओं के वाद्य यंत्रों से निकलने वाली देव ध्वनियों से पूरा शहर गुंजायमान रहा।
इस अवसर पर पड्डल मैदान में सुन्दर सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा कि मंडी शहर का यह देव समागम एक अनूठा महोत्सव है जिसमें श्रद्धालुओं को देवी-देवताओं के दर्शन करने का अवसर प्राप्त होता है।
लोगों को छोटी काशी और इसके ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों की पारम्परिक संस्कृति की जानकारी भी मिलती है।
मुख्य संसदीय सचिव ने कहा कि वर्तमान में प्रत्यक्ष कुछ है तो वह हमारे देवी देवता हैं और हमारे देव समाज को आगे बढ़ाने वाले देवलु देव समाज का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है जो अपना घर परिवार छोड़कर देव परम्परा का निर्वहन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू के प्रयासों से पहली बार देव समाज को एक करोड़ रुपये की राशि मिली है जो देव समाज को गौरवान्वित करने वाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री स्व0 वीरभद्र सिंह ने देव समाज के लिए अनेक योजनाएं आरम्भ की। जिसके कारण देव समाज आगे बढ़ा है। मंडी में अत्याधुनिक देव सदन का निर्माण किया गया है जिससे इस महोत्सव में आने वाले देवताओं और देवलुओं को बेहतर सुविधा उपलब्ध हुई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि कुल्लू और मंडी का देव समाज एक हो रहा है और भविष्य में एक साथ आगे बढ़कर देव परम्पराओं को आगे ले जाने के लिए सामुहिक प्रयास आवश्यक है।
उन्होंने कहा कि मेले हमारी प्राचीन संस्कृति व सभ्यता के प्रतीक है, लेकिन मण्डी में मनाए जाने वाले अन्र्तराष्ट्रीय शिवरात्रि महोत्सव की अपनी अलग पहचान है।
उपायुक्त एवं अध्यक्ष, शिवरात्रि मेला आयोजन समिति अरिंदम चौधरी ने मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत किया तथा उन्हें शाल व स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित किया।
इस अवसर पर विधायक धर्मपुर चन्द्रशेखर, कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता चेत राम ठाकुर, चंपा ठाकुर, लाल सिंह कौशल, नरेश चौहान, पुलिस अधीक्षक शालिनी अग्निहोत्री और विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी, संगठनों के पदाधिकारी व शहर के गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे।
