Himachal News: तीन वर्षों में हिमाचल प्रदेश में 6,551 सड़क दुर्घटनाएं हुईं। इनमें से 1,425 दुर्घटनाएं 10 पुलिस थानों के अंतर्गत हुई हैं, जोकि कुल हादसों का 21.75 प्रतिशत है। ट्रैफिक टूरिस्ट एवं रेलवे विभाग की ओर से वर्ष 2020, 2021 व 2022 के तीन वर्षीय यातायात दुर्घटनाओं के विश्लेषण में इसका खुलासा हुआ है।
डीजीपी संजय कुंडू ने कहा कि पुलिस मुख्यालय में उच्च अधिकारियों की ओर से निरंतर यातायात दुर्घटना के आंकड़ों पर मंथन व इसका विस्तृत विश्लेषण किया जाता है। इनमें थाना सदर ऊना के तहत 193, नालागढ़ 173, कुल्लू 154, अंब 141, बद्दी 139, पांवटा साहिब 135, बल्ह 131, नूरपुर 125, सदर बिलासपुर 125 व ठियोग 114 सड़क दुर्घटनाएं हुई हैं।
प्रदेश में हुई कुल मौतों में से 20.69 फीसदी
प्रदेश में हुई कुल मौतों में से 20.69 फीसदी इन पुलिस थानों के तहत हुईं। मौतों की संख्या 562 है। सदर ऊना के तहत 99, नालागढ़ 83, बद्दी 83 अंब 53, कुल्लू 53, नूरपुर 50, ठियोग 44, बल्ह 40, पांवटा साहिब 36 और सदर बिलासपुर में 21 मौते हुईं। इन 10 थानों के अंतर्गत हुई दुर्घटनाओं में कुल घायल हुए लोगों की संख्या 1,947 रही, जो प्रदेश में कुल दुर्घटनाओं का विश्लेषण है।

10 थानों के जिलों के पुलिस अधीक्षकों को भी पुलिस महानिदेशक संजय कुंडु की ओर से पत्र लिखकर निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि इस संदर्भ में सभी हितधारकों के साथ मिलकर प्रभावी कदम उठा कर एक उपयोगी योजना तैयार करके दुर्घटनाओ में कमी लाने का प्रयास करें।
