इस दौरान कंगना रनौत के माता-पिता भी उपस्थित रहे और मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर ने उनके साथ सुबह का नाश्ता किया। मुख्यमंत्री के साथ मनाली के स्थानीय विधायक और प्रदेश सरकार में शिक्षा मंत्री गोविंद ठाकुर भी मौजूद रहे। उन्होंने कंगना रनौत से करीब आधा घंटा से ज्यादा मंत्रणा की। हालांकि इस मुलाकात के दौरान क्या बातचीत हुई इस बारे में कुछ सामने नहीं आ पाया है। लेकिन चुनाव की दहलीज पर खड़े हिमाचल प्रदेश से इस मुलाकात को राजनीति से जोड़कर देखा जा रहा है।
