Paush Amavasya : हिन्दू धर्म में ‘अमावस्या’ को काफी महत्व दिया गया हैं,यह प्रत्येक महीने में एक बार मनाई जाती हैं.दिसंबर महीना पौष का महीना हैं और 23 दिसंबर अमावस्या आने ही वाला हैं.यह दिन ‘भगवान विष्णु’ का दिन हैं और इस दिन भगवान विष्णु की आराधना करनी चाहिए.अमावस्या के दिन नदी में स्न्नान करके सूर्य को अर्ध्य भी दिया जाता हैं.

| एकादशी समापन तिथि तथा समय | 23 दिसंबर सुबह 03:46 बजे |
पूजा की विधि –
-प्रातः काल नदी में स्न्नान या फिर घर पर गंगा जल मिलकर स्न्नान करे.
-सूर्यदेव को अर्ध्य चढ़ाये.
-भगवान विष्णु की आराधना करे तथा उपवास रखे.
-अपने पितरो को याद करके दान करे.
-विधि-विधान से पूजा पाठ अवश्य करे.
-विष्णु जी के साथ-साथ भगवान शंकर की भी आराधना करे.
