इतिहास व संस्कृति के संवाहक हैं हमारे बुजुर्ग-आचार्य देव दत्त शर्मा
इतिहास विभाग सरदार पटेल विश्वविद्यालय मंडी के स्नातकोत्तर विद्यार्थियों ने बुजुर्ग हमारी धरोहर अभियान के अंतर्गत बुजुर्गों के विचारों को संकलित किया है। इतिहास विभाग संयोजक डॉ राकेश कुमार शर्मा व राजेश शर्मा अभियान संयोजक ने अभियान से सम्बंधित प्रतिवेदन कुलपति आचार्य देव दत्त शर्मा के सम्मुख प्रस्तुत किया।आचार्य देव दत्त शर्मा ने इस उपलक्ष्य पर कहा कि यह एक सराहनीय प्रयास है कि विद्यार्थी अपने बुजुर्गों के साथ विचारों को सांझा कर रहे हैं।उन्होंने कहा कि बुजुर्ग हमारे इतिहास व संस्कृति के संवाहक हैं।विद्यार्थी उनसे इतिहास और संस्कृति के बारे में प्राथमिक जानकारी प्राप्त कर रहे हैं।आचार्य अनुपमा सिंह प्रति कुलपति व अधिष्ठाता अकादमिक मामले ने विद्यार्थियों को बधाई दी व कहा कि बुजुर्ग हमारी धरोहर हैं। इतिहास विभाग के संयोजक डॉ राकेश कुमार शर्मा ने बताया कि इतिहास विभाग के स्नातकोत्तर विद्यार्थियों द्वारा गत दो माह पूर्व बुजुर्ग हमारी धरोहर अभियान का शुभारंभ किया।जिसके अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों ने घर,गांव व समाज के बुजुर्गों के साथ विचार सांझा किये व हिमाचल के इतिहास व संस्कृति के संदर्भ में विस्तार से चर्चा की और उसका संकलन किया।इस अभियान के संयोजक राजेश कुमार शर्मा सहायक आचार्य इतिहास ने बताया कि विद्यार्थियों ने बुजुर्गों के साथ बातचीत कर महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्राप्त की है।उन्होंने बताया कि मनीषा ने नब्बे वर्षीय भीमा राम, जितेंद्र ने अठानवे वर्षीय लक्ष्मी देवी, अभिषेक ने अस्सी वर्षीय हुकमचंद, कलावंतू ने अस्सी वर्षीय मंगला देवी, गीता ने सतासी वर्षीय मोहन नाथ, पुष्प लता ने बीरबल शर्मा,रोहित ने नाहर मल्ल व हुकुम दत्त,तनुजा ने मनोरमा देवी सहित पचपन विद्यार्थियों ने बुजुर्गों के अनुभवों को लिपिबद्ध किया है।
