Mandi:हिमाचल प्रदेश की छोटी काशी मंडी शहर में महाशिवरात्रि पर प्राचीन परंपराओं का निर्वहन करते हुए भव्य लघु जलेब निकाली गई। डीसी मंडी अरिंदम चैधरी ने सबसे पहले राज माधव राय मंदिर के बाहर बने प्राचीन हवन कुंड में पूजा-अर्चना करके पूर्णाहूति डाली. इसके बाद टारना माता मंदिर जाकर विधिवत पूजा अर्चना की। उपायुक्त ने बाबा भूतनाथ की पूजा अर्चना भी की।छोटी काशी में महाशिवरात्रि महोत्सव के कारज शुरू हो गए हैं। शनिवार को माधोराय और टारना माता मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना के बाद शाही अंदाज में लघु जलेब निकाली गई।
बैंड की धुन पर पुलिस और होमगार्ड की टुकड़ी जलेब में शामिल हुई। पुलिस के घुड़सवार आगे चल रहे थे। रियासतकालीन देवता शुकदेव ऋषि का रथ भी ढोल नगाड़ों के साथ चैहट्टा बाजार में पहुंचा। इससे पहले राजदेवता माधोराय के मंदिर यज्ञ करवाया गया। इसके बाद मेला कमेटी के अध्यक्ष अरिंदम चैधरी ने टारना जाकर बड़ादेव कमरुनाग की पूजा की। वही बाबा भूतनाथ की पूजा अर्चना के साथ मेला अध्यक्ष ने बाबा भूतनाथ को न्योता दिया और मंदिर के प्रंगाण में हवन कूंड में आहूतिया भी डाली। इस दौरान मंदिर में भारी भीड़ देखने को मिली। उपायुक्त ने सभी को शिवरात्री की शुभाकमनाएं भी दी और शिवरात्री महोत्सव में बढ़चढ़ कर भाग लेने का आग्रह लोगों से किया। बात दे कि छोटी काशी मंडी में अंतरराष्ट्रीय शिवरात्रि मेले का शुभारंभ रविवार को होगा। दोपहर दो बजे राजदेवता माधोराय की अगुवाई में शाही अंदाज में पहली जलेब निकलेगी। परंपरा का निर्वहन करते हुए जलेब में देवी-देवताओं के रथ माधोराय की पालकी के आगे पीछे चलेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सुक्खू जलेब में शिरकत करेंगे।
