Onion Farmers : महाराष्ट्र के एक 58 वर्षीय किसान ने सोलापुर एपीएमसी में 512 किलो प्याज सिर्फ 1 रुपये प्रति किलो के हिसाब से बेचा. किसानों ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी फसल को लेकर 70 किमी से अधिक की यात्रा की और एपीएमसी पहुंचे.चव्हाण को 2 रुपये का पोस्ट-डेटेड चेक दिया गया क्योंकि सभी कटौतियों के बाद उनका शुद्ध लाभ मुश्किल से 2.49 रुपये था। वह 15 दिन बाद ही चेक को भुना सकेंगे.

500 किलो प्याज के मिले 2 रूपये –

मायूस चव्हाण ने टीओआई को बताया, “मुझे प्याज के लिए 1 रुपये प्रति किलो मिला. एपीएमसी व्यापारी ने 512 रुपये की कुल राशि से 509.50 रुपये परिवहन शुल्क, हेड-लोडिंग और वजन शुल्क के रूप में काट लिए.”चव्हाण के मुताबिक, पिछले साल वह 20 रुपये प्रति किलो की कीमत पाने में कामयाब रहे थे। पिछले 3-4 वर्षों में बीज, उर्वरक और कीटनाशकों की लागत दोगुनी हो गई है और उन्होंने 500 किलो प्याज उगाने के लिए लगभग 40,000 रुपये खर्च किए.

प्याज खराब गुणवत्ता वाले थे –

चव्हाण से प्याज खरीदने वाले सोलापुर एपीएमसी के व्यापारी नासिर खलीफा ने कम कीमत के पीछे अपनी बात रखी.
उन्होंने कहा कि चव्हाण द्वारा नीलामी के लिए लाए गए प्याज खराब गुणवत्ता के थे. इससे पहले चव्हाण उच्च गुणवत्ता वाला प्याज लेकर आए थे, जो 18 रुपये प्रति किलो बिक रहा था. उन्होंने कहा कि कम गुणवत्ता वाले प्याज को अच्छी कीमत नहीं मिली क्योंकि आमतौर पर उनकी मांग नहीं होती है.
