Mahabharat : आज हम महाभारत के युद्ध के बारे में कुछ बातें करने जा रहे हैं। महाभारत युद्ध के 14वे दिन पांडवों की तरफ से भीम का पुत्र घटोत्कच युद्ध मैदान में उतरा था। आपको बता दें कि घटोत्कच एक राक्षस था जो कि रावण की तरह काफी शक्तिशाली रहा है। घटोत्कच राक्षस होने के कारण उसकी शक्तियां रात में ही काम किया करती थी यहां तक कि वह अचानक गायब भी हो सकता था। घटोत्कच के पास तरह-तरह के मायावी शस्त्र भी थे यहां तक कि वह एक चुटकी में ही मायावी सेना तैयार कर सकता था।

यह तो हम सभी जानते हैं कि महाभारत के दौरान यह नियम बनाया गया था कि सूरज अस्त होने के बाद युद्ध थम जाएगा। लेकिन देखा जाए तो भीष्म पितामह के गायब होने के बाद युद्ध के सारे नियम ही बदल गए। इन नियमों का पालन ना तो पांडवों ने किया और ना ही गौरव ने। देखा जाए तो एक नियम युद्ध के 14 दिन भी टूट गया था। देखा जाए तो 14 दिन सूरज अस्त होने के बावजूद भी युद्ध आधी रात तक चलता रहा। 14 दिन योद्धा आधी रात तक चलता रहा इसमें पूरा हाथ कृष्ण भगवान का था।

देखा जाए तो दसवे दिन भीष्म पितामह का वध पांडवों ने कर दिया था और 11 दिन पांडवों ने कर्ण को मारने की योजना बनाई थी। लेकिन कृष्ण भगवान यह अच्छी तरह से जानते थे कि कर्ण के पास इंद्रदेव के द्वारा दी गई असंख्य मायावी शस्त्र है। इंद्रदेव की कृपा से पाए गए शस्त्र से कर्ण आसानी से अर्जुन को मार सकता था। इसलिए कृष्ण भगवान चाहते थे कि कर्ण के पास जितने भी मायावी शस्त्र है वह किसी और योद्धा पर इस्तेमाल हो जाए और अर्जुन के प्राण बच जाए।

पांडवों के तरफ से कर्ण को टक्कर देने के लिए या तो अर्जुन सामने आ सकते थे या फिर घटोत्कच। भगवान कृष्ण ने घटोत्कच को यह आदेश दिया था कि वह कर्ण को आज ही मार दे। घटोत्कच ने अपनी सारी शक्ति लगाकर कौरवों का वध करना शुरू कर दिया। और देखा जाए तो घटोत्कच काफी मायावी शक्ति से जुड़ा हुआ था, इसीलिए कोई भी गौरव घटोत्कच का बाल भी बांका नहीं कर पा रहा था।

आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि कौरव सेना के सेनापति द्रोणाचार्य थे लेकिन वह भी घटोत्कच को मृत्यु के घाट नहीं उतार पा रहे थे। अपनी सेना को तबाह होते देखकर दुर्योधन ने कर्ण को आदेश दिया कि वह किसी भी तरह से घटोत्कच की हत्या कर दे। लेकिन देखा जाए तो घटोत्कच एक राक्षस का बेटा था और वह मायावी शक्ति जानता था, इसलिए उसे मार पाना मुश्किल नजर आ रहा था।

सूर्यास्त हो जाने पर पांडवों ने अपने शस्त्र छोड़ दिया और वह अपने स्थान पर चले गए लेकिन घटोत्कच युद्ध करता ही रहा। देखा जाए तो रात के वक्त घटोत्कच की शक्ति बढ़ती ही जा रही थी जिस वजह से गौरव को लगा कि अब आज उन सबका मरना ताये हैँ। अंत में थक हार के कर्ण ने अपना सबसे कीमती बार घटोत्कच पर चला दिया जो बान उसने अर्जुन की हत्या के लिए रख रखा था और इस तरह घटोत्कच की मृत्यु आधी रात को हुई।
