Supreme Court : सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा पटना हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस संजय करोल एवं जस्टिस ए अमानुल्लाह सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज बनाए गए हैं.13 दिसंबर 2022 को हुई कॉलेजियम की बैठक में पटना हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस संजय करोल एवं वरीय जज जस्टिस ए अमानुल्लाह की अनुशंसा की गई थी, जिसपर केंद्र सरकार ने शनिवार को मुहर लगा दी गयी हैं.

5 नए न्यायाधीश की घोषणा की गयी –
पांच नये न्यायाधीश मिल गये. कानून मंत्री किरेन रीजीजू (Kiren Rijiju) ने राजस्थान हाई कोर्ट (Rajasthan High Court) के मुख्य न्यायाधीश पंकज मित्तल, पटना हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश संजय करोल, मणिपुर हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश पी वी संजय कुमार, पटना हाई कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश अहसानुद्दीन अमानुल्लाह; और इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट (Allahabad High Court) के न्यायाधीश मनोज मिश्रा को शीर्ष अदालत के न्यायाधीश के रूप में पदोन्नत किये जाने की ट्वीट के जरिये घोषणा की.

आखिर कौन हैं जस्टिस संजय करोल-
जस्टिस संजय करोल- जस्टिस करोल को 11 नवंबर, 2019 को पटना हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था. इससे पहले, उन्होंने त्रिपुरा हाई कोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस के रूप में कार्य किया था. जस्टिस करोल ने त्रिपुरा राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के पैट्रन-इन-चीफ के साथ-साथ त्रिपुरा ज्यूडिशियल अकेडमी के अध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्य किया है. करोल का जन्म 23 अगस्त 1961 को शिमला में हुआ था.

सोमवार को होगा शपथ ग्रहण –

सुप्रीम कोर्ट परिसर में सोमवार को सुबह 10.30 बजे पांचों जजों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह होगा. सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम के अध्यक्ष मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी. वाई. चंद्रचूड़ हैं. शीर्ष अदालत में 34 न्यायाधीशों की स्वीकृत शक्ति है और वर्तमान में 27 न्यायाधीशों के साथ काम कर रही है. इस प्रकार, सात रिक्तियां हैं.
