Bharat Buildcon 2026 – One Nation, One Expo, a major exhibition dedicated to the building materials and construction industry, was inaugurated today at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. The event was jointly inaugurated by Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology Shri Jitin Prasada, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal, and Member of Parliament Shri Parshottam Rupala in the presence of industry leaders, policymakers, manufacturers, and business representatives.

The exhibition witnessed an overwhelming response on its opening day, attracting more than 25,000 visitors from across the country and abroad. Bharat Buildcon 2026 has emerged as one of the largest industry gatherings, bringing together architects, builders, developers, contractors, manufacturers, traders, technology providers, policymakers, and international buyers under one roof.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Shri Jitin Prasada emphasized the growing importance of international trade partnerships in boosting India’s economic growth. He highlighted the role of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in expanding market access for Indian industries and creating new opportunities for exports and investments.

Referring to the recently announced India–United Kingdom Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Shri Prasada said the agreement is expected to strengthen trade ties between the two nations and provide Indian manufacturers and exporters with improved access to global markets. He noted that such agreements are instrumental in enhancing the competitiveness of Indian industries, including the construction and building materials sector.

The Minister also underlined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of establishing India as a trusted global manufacturing and sourcing hub. According to him, the country possesses the necessary resources, skilled workforce, and industrial capabilities to expand its presence in diverse sectors. He stressed that quality-driven manufacturing and innovation would play a key role in achieving this objective.

Highlighting the significance of industry exhibitions, Shri Prasada said platforms like Bharat Buildcon facilitate meaningful engagement between manufacturers, innovators, buyers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. Such interactions help promote business collaborations, technology transfer, and investment opportunities while strengthening the overall ecosystem of the construction sector.

Bharat Buildcon 2026 has attracted participation from more than 90 countries and over 100 cities across India, reflecting the growing global interest in India’s infrastructure and construction market. The event serves as a platform for showcasing the latest products, technologies, and innovations that are shaping the future of the industry.

The exhibition features displays across 24 segments of the construction and building materials sector. These include ceramics and stone products, hardware solutions, cement and steel manufacturing, plywood and laminates, furniture, sanitaryware, electrical equipment, paints and coatings, construction technologies, and several allied industries. Exhibitors are presenting advanced products and sustainable solutions aimed at improving efficiency, durability, and environmental performance in construction projects.

Industry experts believe the event will play a significant role in promoting innovation and encouraging business networking among domestic and international participants. The presence of global buyers and investors is expected to create new opportunities for Indian companies seeking to expand their reach in overseas markets.

With India witnessing rapid urbanization and infrastructure development, the construction industry continues to be a major contributor to economic growth. Events such as Bharat Buildcon provide an important platform for discussing emerging trends, exploring new technologies, and addressing challenges faced by the sector.

The exhibition will continue over the coming days, offering visitors opportunities to explore cutting-edge products, engage with industry experts, and participate in business interactions. Organizers expect the event to further strengthen partnerships and contribute to the growth and modernization of India’s construction and building materials industry.
