Agriculture : इस साल मवेशियों में लम्पी स्किन डिजीज काफी फैल रही है. इस वायरस की चपेट में मध्य प्रदेश के कई जिले आ चुके हैं. इस बीमारी से हजारों मवेशी ग्रसित हैं और कई हजारों पशुओं की मौत भी हो चुकी है. राज्य सरकार द्वारा इस बीमारी को रोकने के लिए कई सारे प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं. लेकिन फिर भी इसका कोई हल नहीं निकल पा रहा है. इसके लिए मवेशियों को टीके भी लगाए जा रहे हैं.

इसी दौरान मध्यप्रदेश के बैतूल जिले से खबर आई है कि लम्पी स्किन डिजीज के कारण यहां के किसान बहुत ज्यादा परेशान हो चुके है. यहां के किसानों ने फैसला लिया है कि इस बार वे दिवाली का त्यौहार ही मनाएंगे. किसानों का कहना है कि हमारे मवेशी इस बीमारी से परेशान है और हम खुशी से ये त्यौहार कैसे मना सकते है.

रिपोर्ट के अनुसार बैतूल जिले के 22 गांव के किसान इस बार दिवाली का त्यौहार नहीं मना रहे है. यहां से किसान इस बार दीपक नहीं जलाएंगे और महालक्ष्मी की पूजा भी नहीं करेंगे. इस बात का फैसला सबसे पहले भीमपुर खंडगांव के किसानों ने लिया है. किसानों के अनुसार लंबे समय से मवेशी इस बीमारी से परेशान हैं और उनकी मौत हो रही है. इसलिए किसान दिवाली का त्यौहार नहीं मना रहे हैं.

यह इलाका आदिवासी बाहुल्य इलाका है. भीमपुर की ग्राम पंचायत की चुनालोमा के गांव के सरपंच कमलती पांसे ने बताया कि चुनालोमा के अधिकतर जानवरों में यह बीमारी फैल चुकी है. कई मवेशी तो मर चुके हैं. अगर धीरे-धीरे ऐसे ही जानवर मरते रहे तो किसान बर्बाद हो जाएंगे. इस तरह की बीमारी को देखते हुए सभी आदिवासियों ने मवेशियों को इकट्ठा कर पूजा अर्चना करने का फैसला लिया है. लम्पी स्किन डिजिज को रोकने के लिए हर दिन माँ शीतला रानी को जल चढ़ाया जाता है.

यहां के निवासी एक किसान श्याम लाल का कहना है कि पूरे इलाके में लम्पी स्किन डिजीज फैल चुकी है. जानवरों को फोड़े फुंसी हो रही है और वह खाना भी नहीं खा रहे हैं. धीरे-धीरे जानवरों की मौत भी हो रही है.

वहीं पर रहने वाले कुमकुम ने बताया कि यह खतरनाक बीमारी एक जानवर से दूसरे जानवर में फैल रही है. यहां पर कोई डॉक्टर भी नहीं है और इसीलिए इलाज नहीं हो पा रहा है.
