Education: देश के ऐसे छात्र जो हायर एजुकेशन के लिए ब्रिटेन जानना चाहते हैं। वह ब्रिटेन जाने से पहले ही वहां बैंक अकाउंट खुलवा सकते हैं। ICICI बैंक ने ऐसे बैंकों के लिए ब्रिटेन में एक सुविधा शुरू की है। ICICI के स्वामित्व वाली ICICI बैंक यूके पीएससी ने भारतीय छात्रों को फॉर्म विंटेज करंट अकाउंट का ऑफर दिया है। इस बैंक का मुख्यालय गुजरात के वडोदरा में स्थित है।

इस अकाउंट की खास बात यह है कि आपको ब्रिटेन में रहने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। यानी कि आप भारत में घर बैठे अकाउंट खुलवा सकते हैं। अकाउंट खुलवाने के बाद आपको विजा, डेबिट कार्ड भी मिलेगा।

जिसे दुनिया में कहीं भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। यह अकाउंट भारत में एक सेविंग अकाउंट की तरह काम करेगा। अकाउंट होल्डर एक बार सक्रिय होने के बाद इंटरनेट बैंकिंग और मोबाइल बैंकिंग को भी एक्टिवेट कर सकता है।

छात्र फिजिकल डेबिट कार्ड को भारतीय या यूके के पत्ते पर डिलीवर कराने का विकल्प चुन सकते हैं। ICICI बैंक के यूकेपीएससी के रिटेल बैंकिंग प्रमुख प्रताप सिंह का कहना है कि हमें आगे की शिक्षा के लिए और यूके के आने वाले छात्रों की अनूठी बैंकिंग आवश्यकता को समझते हुए और उनके लिए बैंकिंग को आसान बनाने का प्रयास किया है।

इस सुविधा के द्वारा भारतीय छात्रों को यूके जाने से पहले ही बैंक अकाउंट खुलवाने में मदद मिलेगी। जिससे छात्रों को वहां जाने के बाद किसी तरह की समस्या का सामना न करना पड़े। होम क्रेडिट अकाउंट और विजा डेबिट कार्ड छात्रों को यूके में अपने बैंकिंग आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए बैंक द्वारा दिया जाएगा।
