Marburg Virus : कोरोना की भयानक दुर्दशा किसे याद नहीं हैं, कोरोना वाइरस ने तो लाखों-करोड़ो लोगों के घरों को बर्बाद कर दिया.ऐसे में कई लोगों ने अपने और अपने घर वालों के स्वास्थ्य की काफी देखभाल भी की.यह वाइरस काफी तेजी से फैला और पूरे विश्व को जैसे तबाह करके रख दिया लेकिन हमें हमेशा सकरात्मक सोच को रखना चाहिए.चाहे फिर नतीजा कुछ भी हो.आइये जानते हैं मारबर्ग रोग क्या हैं तथा इससे बचने के क्या उपाय हैं.

WHO ने की इस रोग की पुष्टि –

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) ने अफ्रीका के एक देश इक्वेटोरियल गिनी (Equatorial Guinea) में मारबर्ग रोग के पहले प्रकोप की पुष्टि की है. WHO ने कहा कि छोटे पश्चिमी अफ्रीकी देश में कम से कम नौ मौतों के लिए इबोला से संबंधित वायरस जिम्मेदार है. डब्ल्यूएचओ ने सोमवार को एक बयान में इक्वेटोरियल गिनी से नमूने Senegal की एक लैब में भेजे जाने के बाद महामारी की पुष्टि की.

मारबर्ग रोग क्या है?

मारबर्ग वायरस रोग एक अत्यधिक विषाणुजनित रोग है जो Haemorrhagic Fever का कारण बनता है, जिसमें मृत्यु दर 88% तक होती है. यह उसी परिवार का वायरस है जो इबोला वायरस रोग का कारण बनता है.इबोला की तरह मारबर्ग वायरस चमगादड़ों में उत्पन्न होता है और संक्रमित लोगों के Bodily Fluids या दूषित बिस्तर की चादर जैसी सतहों के निकट संपर्क के माध्यम से लोगों के बीच फैलता है.मारबर्ग वायरस के कारण होने वाली बीमारी अचानक तेज बुखार, गंभीर सिरदर्द और गंभीर अस्वस्थता के साथ शुरू होती है. कई रोगियों में सात दिनों के भीतर गंभीर रक्तस्रावी लक्षण विकसित हो जाते हैं.

मारबर्ग रोग को रोकने का उपाय –

मारबर्ग के इलाज के लिए कोई अधिकृत टीके या दवाएं नहीं हैं, लेकिन लक्षणों को कम करने के लिए Rehydration Treatment से बचने की संभावना में सुधार हो सकता है.

इस रोग की ऐसे की गयी थी पहचान –

जर्मनी, बेलग्रेड और सर्बिया में 1967 में मारबर्ग की पहली बार पहचान की गई थी. अंगोला में 2004 के प्रकोप में मारबर्ग ने संक्रमित 252 लोगों में से 90% लोगों को मौत के घाट उतार दिया था. पिछले साल घाना में मारबर्ग के कारण दो लोगों की मौतों की सूचना मिली थी.
