किन बच्चों को एडेनोवायरस का अधिक खतरा होता हैं ?
डॉ पनुगंती के अनुसार, जो बच्चे समय से पहले पैदा होते हैं या जन्म के समय कम वजन के होते हैं, जिन बच्चों की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता या इम्युनोडेफिशिएंसी कम होती है, और जिन्हें किडनी की समस्या या दिल की बीमारी होती है, उनमें एडेनोवायरस विकसित होने का खतरा अधिक होता हैं.
डॉ पनुगंती ने एडेनोवायरस के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए सुझाव दिए –
